Building & Storage Units

What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?

Indoor units are typically located inside a building on the property. Diverse Storage is a three storey building with large commercial elevators for easy access. Our outdoor units have drive-up access. For security reasons, the facility is enclosed by a gate and controlled access system. The gate remains unlocked during office hours and locked at the end of the day.

What security features do you offer?

Our facilities are protected with automated gates, accessible by individualized codes. The buildings themselves are lit with perimeter lighting, monitored with video cameras, and are outfitted with a sophisticated fire suppression system. The storage units are secured with locks that we have for sale or, if you prefer, you can bring your own lock - in either event, you retain possession of all keys.

What is a PIN Code Access?

Each of our units are individually alarmed. You will choose a code that will allow you to enter the storage facility gate and will disarm your unit and re-arm your unit each time you come and go.

Is there anything I cannot store?

Diverse Storage prohibits the storing of dangerous or explosive materials (propane, chemicals, paint, etc) in order to maintain our fire and safety code. We also prohibit any perishable items, such as food or plants, which might attract pests.
